EVEN TASTES BETTER!

So, it does stain but it is now the color of the brown paper filters we were using. I even got my husband to be willing to clean them out every day because after the first test pot with these filters, the coffee tasted so much better! I don't know how but it does. It's a two pack so we rotate every morning - allows the other to dry fully first. We boiled before the first use as instructed and will again after each month of use. My only complaint it that it is hard to get all the wet grounds off the filter so there are a bunch that end up down the drain. We'll have to figure out a fix to this. Maybe a spoon scraping it clean will help... for us, they were worth the switch.

Love these filters!

I was getting tired of buying and throwing away filters so I'm happy to report these linen filters work great!! I also may have used them for a cup of tea or two when I couldn't find my infuser and they worked well for that in a pinch. Cleaning has been easy with dumping the grounds and rinsing them off plus the once a month boiling.

Worth it!

These filters work great. We had been using cotton filters for about a year and a half but they eventually clogged and needed replacing. These linen filters are better because they are not as thick but are tightly woven so they filter just as well. They are easy to clean — just rinse and let air dry daily and boil once a month or so to remove residues.

My husband and I each make 2 cups of pour over a day so at $3.50 for 100 paper filters that’s over $40 a year so these are a bargain at $12 for 2 lasting over a year.
