Our Japanese style bento bags with a tie closure are perfect for storing all kinds of goodies! Use them for grocery shopping, packing your lunch, snacks, traveling, etc.

They are light-weight, stretchy and compact, making them great for bulk shopping and storing in your zero-waste kit.

Choose your favorite style from the swatch menu. 

Approximate bag weights: Large: 1.7 oz., Medium: 1.1 oz., Small: 0.7 oz. TARE weight is stamped on label in oz, g and lb so you don't have to pay for the weight of the bag.

Approximate Bento Bag sizes:

  • Small: 8" wide x 7" height (+7" straps)
  • Medium: 11" wide x 9" height (+8" straps)
  • Large: 13" wide x 11" height (+10" straps)


Knit fabric is not pre-washed, so expect some shrinking.
Edges are sewn for durability and to prevent fraying.

CARE + WASHING: Machine wash warm with like colors, dry in dryer.

I am totally obsessed with these bags. I bought three different sets. I use the big one as a lunch bag for work and get tons of complements on it. the others I use for my sons lunches at school, produce bags and much more. I would totally recommend you getting these you won't be sorry

Best Bags EVER!

I recently moved to a town with very little bulk. Safeway has a very small amount, but they are not "tare" friendly so I'm not about to bring in my mason jars to fill up on almonds. These bento bags do have a tare weight on them (which I LOVE), but they don't weigh enough to cause a scene at a grocery store for not taring while also allowing me to get my almonds without a plastic bag. It's a win-win. Plus they can expand SO BIG. My toddler thinks they are hats though, that's how stretchy they are.

I love the slight stretch to these as it allows the bag to hold more and tie up nicely.

Absolutely Love These

These bento bags are amazing! Not only do they look great, they stretch! I love using these to pack snacks for the day and for packing a travel kit for my car (reusable straw, coffee mug, etc. so I’m never without my eco-friendly necessities).
